We had a frustrating experience with the front desk. A desk staff member denied my partner entry as a guest because he wasn't on my credit card. This was despite my reservation clearly indicating he was the intended occupant. We were left in an inconvenient position, and I was charged for a room we couldn't use.

The kitchenette in my Standard Queen Room was very handy for preparing meals. However, the plumbing noise from neighboring rooms was disruptive during the night.

lots of pillows, quiet location, near Vietnamese restaurant
The reception area had a musty smell!!! A little modernization wouldn't hurt, consider fresher decor and some more appealing bedding!!! Don't get me started on lugging luggage upstairs with no elevator!!!

comfortable stay with some room for improvement
Check-in was smooth, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable, allowing for a great night's sleep. I enjoyed the stunning city view from my room, which enhanced the overall experience.
However, the decor felt quite outdated and could use a refresh.

Just a nice choice for a passing visit in Prince George with real value for money. The room was clean, but the bathroom was so small it was hard to turn around in it. If you're picky about space, look elsewhere.

Had a fantastic time with my friends! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and we loved the free breakfast. Our room was clean, and housekeeping was attentive. We checked out the Rotary Soccer Fields and had fun at the Exploration Place Museum. Highly recommend it for a group getaway!

I stayed in the Standard Queen Room for 1 night. The room was comfortable and had all the essentials. Beds were cozy, and I slept well. However, the musty smell was pretty off-putting, and the decor felt outdated. I was a bit itchy from the old blankets, which could use an upgrade. The cleanliness could definitely be improved.

I stayed over Easter weekend and found the rooms clean, affordable, and the spot was super close to beautiful Fort George Park where I enjoyed leisurely walks, making it easy to explore Prince George's charm and vibrant downtown area.

Carmel Inn is a hidden gem with a cozy atmosphere. The on-site restaurant offers a fantastic Prime Rib buffet on Fridays and Saturdays, and I had the most delightful breakfast there. The staff truly made me feel welcomed, even accommodating my request for a ground-level room due to mobility issues.
Check-in could be smoother.
